Good day chaps!
Well, I must say, I am tremendously glad I read that report, finding the Rainforest Raft HQ is just marvellous, even if we did overshoot somewhat in time. That is being rectified I am told, there are new guidelines being drawn up even as we speak! I wonder what the new directive will be, swim like billy-o seemed like the prefect instruction to me, I can’t think what could possibly replace it! Swim like its-a-hot-day-and-you’ve-had-a big-lunch maybe… or swim like its a-miserable-tuesday… Not so sure that any of those are very catchy, but that is why I don’t write the instructions! Brian Russettcoat is quite good at them I am told. I’m sure he will come up with the perfect turn of phrase!
Now then, that’s not what I was going to talk to you about at all, I have the most marvellous news and i can’t be distracted by any more swimming instructions!
That list of future snacks Zsofia was talking about has turned out to be absolutely splendid. Really excellent and the catering department has been trying to replicate them since the whole thing came to light! I am told that the temporal team is considering having a mid week party just to try them all out, that really does sound like a tremendous idea!
There were all sorts of delicacies local to the amazon, the temporal teams have been back and forward all week on extremely important fish-finding missions.
The list featured such intriguing sounding things as Tambaqui turnovers, Stingray pancakes, Tucunare Peacock Bass casserole, Electric Eel Empadao, Piranha Pastel, Candiru casserole, along with such hearty sounding things as Vatapa and Moqueca de camarao! I don’t know what most of those things are, but I am prepared to give them a good trying out! Wouldn’t want to let all that hard work go to waste, no no that would not do at all! I suspect that after trying all that lot, swimming like its-a-hot-day-and-you’ve-had-a big-lunch, is not going to be a problem for anyone!
Sourcing the ingredients for some of these has been quite the adventure too I am told! Some of these fish are apt to put up quite a fight! We have had to take advice from the Rainforest chaps on the best ways to corner a piranha and eviscerate an eel! It sound like it is quite a marvellous mission. It has also had the tremendous side effect of building international and intertemporal relations! Peter and Camila have been extremely busy adding all of this to their Temporal Visit Matrix, as I believe they are now calling their timeline. They claim that the whole thing is far too complicated for a simple timeline! I am glad they have a handle on all of this and no mistake!
There was one downside to this whole thing! I had another visit from the OIA chaps this morning. They seem to have got wind of the fish-finding missions and have it in their heads that it is misuse of temporal resources or some such thing! They seem to think these Brazilian fellows pose some sort of threat and have started that damnable spying conversation again! Its nonsense I tell you, exotic snacks and stronger international relations is certainly no bad thing and if Brian Russetcoat isn’t worried then no one should be! I sent them packing but I don’t suppose this will be the last I hear of it unfortunately!
