Did I mention the Scottish contingent?

I can safely say that the time otters are keeping the outcome of the second time expedition from me. I have tried everything to get a report out of them, blustering and threats and I even made them a sandwich. Well, I didn’t actually make the sandwich, but I got sandwiches sent to them from the catering department. I even went along with the sandwiches to check they got there ok, they were marvellous sandwiches I can tell you! Even in the face of superb snacks Brian and the team remained quite silent on the matter.

Brian did try to explain…at great length… that I couldn’t know what happened because when the team met me I didn’t know what happened… he has said it before. Quite frankly it is all he has blooming well been saying for the past week. This just isn’t good enough you know! In amongst this avoidance, the team and I have decided that the time expeditions should attempt to keep a lower profile in the future futures. Save all this running around and annoying me!

This has all been very distracting you know, I have a mountain of paperwork to get through and the Scottish contingent will be arriving next week, so much to prepare!

Lucy tells me in haven’t told you about the Scottish visit,

Well… it’s splendid news, A contingent from the Scottish Sub-Raft is going to pay us a visit, fantastic opportunity to see if we can collaborate in future expeditions and research…or so I am told…

it is going to be marvellous, there will be salmon you know and all manner of shellfish! It will be splendid!

I am going to go down to the catering department right now to check on some arrangements!

I think Lutra is somewhat distracted so I thought I’d lend a paw! He’ll be back on full form once we get this business all straightened out!

In the mean time we have been working on some motivation and inspiration posters to boost moral around be Holt and the general population. Not that moral is bad you understand, just there has been some speculation about apocalypses, it that the plural of apocalypse… should apocalypse actually have a plural? Anyway we have been making some posters to stick up to reassure people about the future of otterkind…

These are our first attempts, what do you think?

  1. These posters are magnificent! I feel inspired already. Especially the one about the top hat. With enough hats, anything can happen. I am very excited to meet the Scottish otters – I hope they bring whisky! Poor Lutra. He is getting his tail in a twist about all this time travel business. I’m sure everything will become clear before too long 🙂

    1. I am sure it will, I have a feeling he will meet the time otters in the next day or so and it will all become clear 😀 He is not good at being out of the loop!

      I think Lucy Littlepaws is better at inspirational quotes too… the one about the hat is inspiring, the other two are vaguely reassuring…possibly…

      1. I think Lutra is too distracted by time otters to be quite as inspiring as he might be! Still, his posters have quite the impact. They are very instructional – I feel that I must be inspired… or else!!
